The Charles Reynolds Fund opens to tackle the effects of generational poverty on Cornwall Donating £20,000

We are delighted to announce the Charles Reynolds Foundation partnership with the Cornwall Community Foundation. The fund will focus on tackling the effects of generational poverty in Cornwall £20,000 donated pledging up to £250,000. CJ Medical is also a founding member of our CCF Business Club.

Applications are invited from community organisations and charities in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly for grants that alleviate the effects of poverty for families and young people through one or more of the following themes: sport, nutrition, education, and rehabilitation.

Charles Reynolds commented, “Growing up in any form of poverty can reduce access to resources, hinder development and contribute to the challenges of life long educational and professional attainment. I am delighted to establish a fund to help address the challenges of generational poverty and support communities in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.”

The Cornwall Community Foundation Chief Executive, Tamas Haydu adds,” We are very grateful indeed for the support of Charles Reynolds in setting up this exciting new fund. The fund will offer opportunities that change the lives of those that take part. It’s great also to see a long-term supporter and Business Club member going the extra mile to help their local community.”
