At CJ Medical, we take our responsibility to the planet seriously. As a small to medium-sized enterprise, we believe that transparency and honesty are key to meaningful environmental action. We have fully disclosed our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, demonstrating our commitment to accountability.

Waste Management

CJ Medical is mindful of its waste production which is monitored daily in terms of reusability and recycling. Wast is divided into three four categories, namely:

Downstream Packaging for reuse, Cardboard & paper recycling, Tin & plastic recycling, and General waste for land fill

In the last recorded period of 12 months CJ Medical generated: 0.711 Tonnes of Paper, cardboard & other materials for recycling and 0.435 Tonnes of waste for landfill

Packaging

Our packaging now includes wool insulation liners, recyclable paper bubble wrap, all-paper recyclable document wallets, recyclable gel packs, sustainably sourced paper, and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified cardboard boxes. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Certified materials that are environmentally sourced. FSC is an international non-profit organisation founded in 1993 with a mission to create responsible forestry. It is the only scheme that is endorsed by leading environmental charities like WWF, the Woodland Trust & Greenpeace.

Car Emissions

More than 70% of our workforce now use electric vehicles, following our 2021 transition from fuel combustion vehicles. We ensure our sales team travel to hospital meetings with the lowest possible emissions, aligning with our commitment to sustainability.
