Founder of The Charles Reynolds Foundation, Charles Reynolds is featured in Urology Matters Issue 22, published on the 8th of July 2026 commenting on the commitment to the continuous professional development of Nurses in the Urology sector.
The Charles Reynolds Foundation has been delighted to work with The Urology Foundation since 2021. This collaboration has enabled 30 nurses to advance their education and skills, and has funded vital work by seven researchers. The Charles Reynolds Foundation believe professional grants for urology nurses truly matter, recognising that many nurses face barriers such as limited training budgets, staffing shortages, restricted study leave, and a lack of access to specialist networks, to name but a few.
Charles commented ‘“My Foundation’s ongoing support for urology nurse professional development should not be viewed as charity, but as strategic professional development. Nurses make a difference, and when they grow, the ripple effect is significant. Services become more efficient, leadership pipelines strengthen and innovation spreads faster.”
